William M. Orman died September 8, 2017 after a short illness.

He was born June 4, 1933 in Shreveport, Louisiana. Bill served 26 years in the Air Force, retiring on January 1, 1980 as a Chief Master Sergeant on the Inspector General's staff.

He then went on to remodel and build custom homes throughout Austin. In 1987 he moved to the San Francisco Bay Area continuing in this profession and where he married his wife, Diane and where his youngest daughter was born. Upon returning to Austin in 1993 he resumed...

William M. Orman died September 8, 2017 after a short illness.

He was born June 4, 1933 in Shreveport, Louisiana. Bill served 26 years in the Air Force, retiring on January 1, 1980 as a Chief Master Sergeant on the Inspector General's staff.

He then went on to remodel and build custom homes throughout Austin. In 1987 he moved to the San Francisco Bay Area continuing in this profession and where he married his wife, Diane and where his youngest daughter was born. Upon returning to Austin in 1993 he resumed his career in construction. After retiring Bill loved nothing more than fishing and playing dominoes with his children and grandchildren. Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Sybil Orman. He leaves behind his wife, Diane, former wife, Mary Orand of Boerne, four children: David Orman (Jeana) of Alamo Heights, Andrea (Mrs. Donald) Salter of Bulverde, Janet (Mrs. David Bryant) of Boerne and Becky Orman of Los Angeles; sister, Charlotte Spurlock of Denton, sister, Paula Ellis of Mt. Belvieu and brother, Dennis (Glynda) of Spring.
