Eustacio (Ernest) Rodriguez Sr., known by his close friends as "Postero," entered eternal life on May 13, 2017. He was born in Bartlett, Texas on December 1, 1934 to Eustacio and Fortunata Rodriguez. Ernest was a faithful and loving husband. He met his wife at the Woolworth soda fountain in 1956, and this year they celebrate 60 years together. Ernest laid a foundation of faith for his family as a member of Emmanuel United Methodist Church. He worked as an optician for over 40 years and continued his trade for those close to him even after retirement. He was a dedicated Longhorn fan, but his greatest pride in life were his 5 children and 8 grandchildren. He was their biggest cheerleader and a source of wisdom and strength for all who loved him. He could be spotted at his local dollar store or movie theater taking time for himself to enjoy the simple things in life. Ernest was deeply loved and will be sorely missed.

Ernest was preceded in death by his parents Eustacio and Fortunata Rodriguez; brothers Elias Rodriguez; Ezekiel Rodriguez; and sisters Aurora Rodriguez; Mary Aleman.
